A.   Case 18-047 is a request for a minor plat to create two lots from the Remainder of Lot 15 C, ASLS 92117, located north and east of the City of Saxman, Ketchikan Gateway Borough, filed by the Alaska Mental Health Trust Land Office on July 11, 2018.

CASE SUMMARY: The purpose of the plat is to subdivide a portion of the property for a land exchange with the U.S. Forest Service.

B.   Case 18-048 is a request for a minor plat to create two lots from Tract 2 C, ASLS 84-54, located southwest of the Ketchikan Airport on Gravina Island, Ketchikan Gateway Borough; filed by the Alaska Mental Health Trust Land Office on July 11, 2018.

CASE SUMMARY: The purpose of the plat is to subdivide a portion of the property for a land exchange with the U.S. Forest Service.

2.   Plat Alterations
 
A.   Case 18-044 is a request for a minor plat to create two lots from Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 26, U.S. Survey 1229, Heath Addition, 2700 and 2724 Third Avenue, City of Ketchikan; filed by Mary Jo Turek on June 5, 2018.

CASE SUMMARY: The applicant owns three adjoining lots. Lots 1 and 3 are developed with residences. Lot 2 is undeveloped; however a portion of the house on Lot 1 encroaches onto Lot 2. The proposed plat will create two larger lots, eliminate the encroachment, and allow for additions to existing structures.

B.   Case 18-049 is a request for a minor plat to alter Lot 3A, Ward Cove 2010 Subdivision, and Lot 3B-1, North Tongass Highway Right-of-Way Plat, according to Plat No. 2017-23; filed by Power Systems and Supplies of Alaska and the State of Alaska on July 19, 2018.

CASE SUMMARY: The purpose of the plat is to reconfigure two existing lots for a land exchange between the property owners.
