REQUESTED ACTION
NOTE: Pursuant to KGBC 18.55.060(3), the property owner notifications (PON's) and associated docket generally described the requested action. However, the information about the requested zoning designation contained a typographical error and a correction was added to the docket after the error was discovered. Should the Planning Commission determine that the public notice was insufficient, this case may be postponed until the next regular meeting date in August and the PON's may be redistributed with accurate information.

CASE SUMMARY
The subject parcels are currently zoned Medium Density Residential (RM) zone, High Density Residential (RH) zone, and Central Commercial (CC) zone, within the Mobile Building Restricted overlay (RM/RH/CC/MBR). The purpose of the rezone is to change the zoning for the lots in preparation for combining all of the lots into one parcel with a single zoning designation. An earlier request to rezone the subject area to the Central Commercial Zone has been withdrawn by the applicant.
PLANNING STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Planning staff recommends that the request for a rezone presented as Case 18-040 be forwarded to the Borough Assembly with a recommendation of approval.
