Case 18-010 is a request for a perpetual Conditional Use Permit to allow a Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit at 215 Strawberry Road; Lot 89-O, U.S. Survey 3158, Ketchikan Gateway Borough.

CASE SUMMARY: The applicant wishes to build a single story house parallel to the northern property line.
 
Case 18-011 is a request for a Major Variance to allow an addition to an existing two-family dwelling to be constructed and encroach into the required rear yard at 247/249 Halibut St.; Lot 8, Block 2, U.S. Survey 1652, City of Saxman.

CASE SUMMARY: The applicant wishes to construct a two-story addition containing a bedroom and bathroom to the rear of an existing duplex. The bedroom and bathroom will be on the second floor. The ground level will contain storage.
 
Case 18-012 is a request to rezone Block 1 of the Emerald Forest subdivision, Phase 1, from the Future Development (FD) Zone and the General Commercial Zone with Special Limitations (CG/SL) Zone to the CG Zone.

CASE SUMMARY: The subject parcel was created as a split-zoned lot when two parcels were combined during a phased subdivision. Special limitations were imposed on that portion of the property that was zoned General Commercial (CG). The property owner requests a rezone to bring the entire parcel into one zone and to eliminate the special limitations on commercial uses.
 
Case 18-013 is a request for a preliminary plat to create five lots from the Unsubdivided Remainder of U.S. Survey 1350, according to Plat No. 2010-8, K.R.D., located in Vallenar Bay on Gravina Island; filed by Stan and Eleanor Hewitt on February 13, 2018.

CASE SUMMARY: The property owner seeks to subdivide the property to create individual lots for sale.
